I have a subdomain from Open Domain.
I added it to my vercel project and is requesting for a txt verification.
The domain i use is added to the suffix list
please check the list from this Link
as i checked the old posts from GitHub I saw that it needs to be in the public suffix list to skip the txt verification. Post
Hi, @shadowgaming100!
We wrote a community post about this: Custom domain verification Does this help?
no, i can only add subdomain records, i cant add _vercel record as they do dont accept
i dont know if this is true, but if domain is added to pubic suffix list you will not need txt verification
@pawlean is there any other solution for this or is a internal problem
Cross-posting a similar thread from another member.
Another member managed to eventually verify their domain by configuring nameservers:
if i add a txt record on my subdomain verifying that i own the subdomain then i will be able to add the cname and complete the setup
is it possible if i create a txt record on the subdomain that verify that i have access to it, it will always skip the verification for my subdomains and all subdomains after the subdomain written below. For example. if i add test.icons.mycodelab.is-cool.dev it will not ask for verification
icons.mycodelab.is-cool.dev
icons.wisard-gaming.is-not-a.dev
Thanks for your patience, @shadowgaming100! Let me have a look and will circle back to you.
Hi, @shadowgaming100! Can you try again? It should work for you now.
will this work for other subdomains from open domains
can you please allow it for my friend even shadowgaming-backups
It should work for all subdomains moving forward. Let me know if you have any issues!
can you even allow for @shadowgaming-backup
@pawlean
Are these both you? I can see that the user has been flagged from the same IP.
As I shared above, can you try adding the subdomains? It should work for all subdomains now.
yes, the second account is a shared account for me and my friends
it should for all accounts right @pawlean
i have tested it and it works
