Vercel deploy from multiple github accounts

When i go to Vercel => Add New Project => Import Github repository: It shows the github repository I logged in to vercel with. and under it it shows an option to: Add Github Account

I press Add Github Account, install the vercel app, authorize it everything. Back to Vercel nothing happens. Refresh Nothing happens. Still only got that one account I can import from.

How is this supposed to work? Was hoping to deploy from 2 different githubs I run to my vercel account.

Hi @simonstrumse, sorry that you faced this issue. Can you share a screen recording?

I can share a full screen recording in private.

but I described exactly what happens. It’s this screen here:

It says add github account, but I’m unable to add a second github account

Hi @simonstrumse, sorry for the delay.

I’ve shared this internally with our team to understand why it’s happening.

Hi @simonstrumse I just got a reply from our team and the reason why you’re facing this is because Vercel only supports 1 GitHub account per Vercel user. You can however, add other Orgs that you are part of in Vercel by using the Add GitHub Account button when creating a new project.

The team will update the flow to introduce an appropriate error message.

I hope this answers your question.

I understand it’s not possible. Not sure I understand the other part. The UI seems a bit misleading at least good thing you’re updating it.

Is adding possibility for multiple github accounts anywhere on the roadmap?

Hi @simonstrumse, thanks for the feedback. No, multiple Github accounts for the same Vercel account isn’t possible or planned.
