SSL Certificate Issue

Hi! I’m having an issue with my website when on government or company wifi networks. Earlier in the summer when I was working on government wifi, I found that if I tried to visit my website, I would get a “Website not secure” message. However, I have another project that is also hosted on Vercel and was able to visit that website with no problems whatsoever.

Both domains were purchased through GoDaddy, and I set up the domains through Vercel the exact same way, but I can attach the DNS records if it is necessary. I’m currently attaching the diagnostic from DNSviz.

I’d appreciate any leads or advice on how to troubleshoot this better!

Hi @benjaminzhao. Have you seen the domain troubleshooting guide?

Thanks for the quick response @amyegan! Yes I have seen the troubleshooting guide, but I didn’t see any issues that resembled what I’m experiencing. I just double checked my DNS records however, and I saw that I have an A record (76.76.21.21) and a CNAME record (cname.vercel-dns.com.) even though I am only using the apex domain. Could this be causing the issue?

However, I’m still a little confused because the DNS records for both domains are set up the exact same, but the issue only occurred with my personal portfolio and not my other website.

Edit: Also this issue only occurs when accessing on government wifi and some company wifi. The issue does not exist most of the time on regular networks or over data, but only certain networks.

Sorry for the delay. It’s possible the specific wifi networks you mentioned are blocking things. Are you still experiencing this problem?
