Community Highlights
@nemanjamiticelfak-gm shared a useful website that aggregates HackerNews “Who’s Hiring” threads. The project was built with Algolia, SQLite, Next.js, and shadcn/ui, as well as free and open source! Get all the details → I built "HackerNews new jobs" with Next.js, ShadcnUI and SQLite
v0 continues to help people create at the moment of inspiration, even with limited coding experience. This week we saw an app to discover public X/Twitter account creation date and a reusable dropdown component shared on Reddit. And there were some beautiful v0 creations shared on X/Twitter, like these cuisine selector chips and this T3 Chat profile design.
The most entertaining community project from the week might be Rizz. It’s an AI app that lets you practice different types of conversation to sharpen your social skills. An interesting idea, ambitious project, and open source! You can read all about it here → Reddit - Dive into anything

Reminders
We have new Who’s Hiring and Hire Me posts up for January 2025. Lots of great opportunities have already been shared. Feel free to add your own info to the lists!
In a very kind PSA, we were reminded this week that Firewall rules can selectively block traffic to help protect your site. Best to set up preventative measures before you end up actually needing them.
