Best practice using v0 from Vercel

I want to build a website by using the great v0 from vercel.
What would be the best pratice to do so? As v0 also creates beautiful functional code already.

Just using v0?
Is it a good practice just using v0 without a local environment?
How would you connect to github without a local code base?
Branching and Merging and having a development env without a local copy?
What is the way you do it using v0?

I know that it is possible to copy the whole project generated by v0 into a local code base.
But the codebase is not connected to v0 afterwards. So I can make changes local and use github and so on. But I can’t go back to v0 and generate another code for the next feature for example. As it is not connected to my local environment and doesn’t has the code implemented locally. Or is there a way to connect it?

What would be the best practice? Using just v0 without a local codebase?

How do you work with v0?

Sorry, I am very new to v0 but really impressed. So I would like to start using it for production website.
I am trying to structure the development process the best way.

Thanks
Tom
