Connecting v0 to a previously deployed Vercel project

Hi there

I have an existing, fully deployed Vercel website that houses my portfolio. It was built a few years ago. I have been recently experimenting with v0 and would like to use it to update my portfolio.

Is there an easy way to say to v0 - use this existing Vercel project?

I have been able to create a v0 project and then connect my Github repo to it, but this means I now have 2 separate Vercel projects for the same repo. The one I created via v0 doesn’t have the deployment history, domain setup, etc. Ideally I’d like to simply connect the existing Vercel project to v0, with all the existing settings. Is this possible?

Sorry if I’m missing an obvious step here.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Elliot! Welcome

I wanted to just say that I’m currently going through a similar process right now. It’s been a lot of fun!

Right now, no. But this is a common feature request we’ve seen! I’ve shared with the team again.

I’ll also like to share this post that @anshumanb wrote, which may be good for you to learn more about using v0.

Thanks for your reply Pauline. That’s a shame, but thanks for passing on to your team. Making this seamless will help existing Vercel users benefit from using v0 much easier.
