Clarification on link between v0 and Vercel platform

I am seeking clarification on the relationship between v0 and Vercel.

I am a novice developer so want to create an application using the Next.js AI Chatbot template on Vercel. (I want to have that available in GitHub and seem to be able to do that).

I would like to be able to chat to v0 about the code that’s in Vercel, but I don’t know if that is possible - can someone please confirm?

My challenge is that I cannot seem to access my Vercel project in v0. I am a Premium (paid) member in v0 but am currently using a free Vercel account until I can see if this works.

Any guidance or recommendations appreciated, thanks.

Hi, Tim! Welcome to the Vercel Community

If you mean, you expect v0 to know the code you have in Vercel already, that is not currently possible. You can share your code with v0 though, and prompts v0 to improve it or add to it, etc.

Does that help?

But my entire project code has over 1000 files and I can’t seem to share it, is there no other way。Looking forward to your reply

Hey, @hzp1995!

You can now create a v0 Project. Within the project, you can create a Vercel Connection and add Vercel Project from your account.

Once set up, any prompts you create within the Project will automatically be based on this connection.

Let me know if I can help clarify anything
