I’m a newbie when it comes to web dev, so this is probably an elementary question for most. When I add a domain name to my list of domains, will they automatically be associated with my website once I purchase that domain elsewhere? Or is there extra configuration I’ll need to do?
Naturally, my site doesn’t work with the domain name I want to use (mightymuso.com). Right now it shows a 403 forbidden error as I cancelled my IONOS contract only a few hours ago, which included the domain name. The site should return a 404 soon, meaning I will need to purchase the domain name again.
On that note, are there any preferred domain hosts for use with Vercel, or does it not matter?

I’ve managed to update the A name record of the domain name hosted by IONOS with that of the details provided here by Vercel, though while it appears set up correctly I still can’t access the site via www.mightymuso.com. As I cancelled my IONOS contract, which included the domain name, I may have to wait until the domain is available. Unfortunately, this could take up to 90 days!
