There is a bug in the token you transfer domains, it says “token is invalid or expired” steps
it should generate a correct token to be used
purchase a domain on my personal account
transfer the domain to user “ahm-zack”
ahm-zack receives the email with a link
clicks it, then it says “token is invalid or expired”
after decoding the token included in the url it says “iat”: 1738704203317713 which is invalid it should probably be “1738704203317” please help ASAP It’s urgent matter your prompt response is appreciated
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
Hey @khaled. The token will only allow transfer to the designated user, so I’d recommend double checking that the recipient is logged in to the correct Vercel account when accepting the transfer.
If you’re still having trouble with this, please open a case so our domain specialists can verify domain details and help you get it transferred.
Tried your suggestion and it doesn’t work unfortunately. Also opening a case just asks me to chat with ai or if i am not a paid member i should post here. So i don’t understand how i can solve this.
Thanks for giving it a try. If it’s a domain you purchased with Vercel then you can open a case for this as a billing issue. If it’s a custom domain registered elsewhere and you just want to associate it with a different Vercel account, I can help with that.
