I have an issue with my vercel web application’s deployment. So currently, the main domain given by vercel is not working which seems to redirect to another domain which is working fine. Since, I have another web app deployed I checked this one and it has the same issue, so I was wondering if all the main domains are currently down?
so when I click on the first link: https://flash-gen.vercel.app/ I get an error saying “the site can’t be reached, connection reset” where as the domain that is used to redirect https://flash-gen-ever-cs-projects.vercel.app/ works fine. I noticed I have the same issue with my other web app. Do you think it could it be a problem on my end?
Thanks for sharing those links. Both of them work for me without any errors. I also found your support case, and it looks like the Customer Success Engineer helping you was also able to use both links without seeing any errors.
The problem could be caused by the browser cache or other local network issue. Does it work if you reset the browser cache, use a different browser, or visit the address from a different device?
I just asked, a buddy to open the site and they got the same problem saying “couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server”. I just tried clearing my cache, and I tried on Firefox, and restarting my Mac but that doesn’t seem to solve the issue.
I noticed the issue, since I’m on my university wifi, I get this issue. Is there a way to get around this or would I have to ask my university to allow this domain? @amyegan
If you and your friend are both using the same university network, that does point to a local block. Contacting your university IT department to allow the site is your best option in that case.
