I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out to ask for help or advice regarding an issue I’m currently facing with my domain, euotiniel.com.
The domain expired on November 4th, and I was unable to renew it in time due to some personal challenges. Recently, I noticed that the domain has been removed from my Vercel dashboard, which left me quite concerned. I had assumed that I’d still have the option to renew it for the usual annual fee of $20, but now I’m unsure how to proceed.
I also received an email stating that reclaiming the domain after the expiration period requires a payment of $89. Unfortunately, this amount is quite significant for me due to currency exchange rates in my country, and I’m not sure if there are any alternatives.
The domain is crucial for my work, and I’d really appreciate it if anyone here could guide me or share any tips on how to navigate this situation. Is there a way to recover the domain or renew it directly? Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a solution?
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Any advice or insight would mean a lot to me.
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
If auto-renewal is enabled, our system will attempt to charge your card and renew automatically. This process is typically attempted 5-6 times before it ceases. If auto-renewal is disabled or if the attempts fail, you will need to contact our support team. Currently, manual renewal is not available via the dashboard.
Please note that a card is necessary for renewal. We assume you have one, as it would have been required when you purchased the domain.
