V0 keeps changing and deleting things

I really like V0 - but I experience ALL THE TIME that it suddenly delete or change things I didn’t ask for.
And it’s a real pain because then I need to go back and figure out where it did this and whether I can restore the pages etc.

It there any method to avoid this? I’ve tried countless time prompt it NOT to change things I didn’t explicitly asked for, but it keeps doing it and it’s exausting.

Could you share what you mean about it suddenly deleting or changing things you didn’t ask for? Is this after you create a new prompt?

Sure!

It’s if I prompt it to either change or create something unrelated. Sometimes it simply delete unrelated code/elements - even sometimes entirely deletes ALL the code. I can provide examples from specific chats if that helps.

Here’s one:

URL: Private v0 Chat – v0 by Vercel (it’s roughly half way through the chat)

I have the same experience. It wasn’t always like that. it started recently.

It is so exhausting and frustrating! It happened a lot to me and i had to revert so many times.

Happy to hear I’m not the only one with this problem. Would greatly appriciate you fixing this, V0 Team. I have to fork my chats every hour to avoid losing data - and sometimes things just disappear without I notice - and then it’s too late to revert
