I wanted to share an open-source project that I’m working on, called Once UI. (Starter template on GitHub)
Our goal was to create a lightweight design system that’s super easy to customize and helps you build responsive, accessible and aesthetically pleasing Next.js apps quickly.
If you have time to take a look and try it out, I would really appreciate your feedback. I’d also love to hear how you choose a UI library, and if there is a particular one that’s worked really well for you.

We tried to deploy to Vercel several times over the course of a few days (it would have been the initial deploy), but kept getting the same error with no guidance on how to resolve it. Unfortunately I can’t find the screenshot anymore, so can’t tell you what the error was. We therefore ended up deploying it elsewhere.
I tried again a few weeks ago and could deploy the project without a hitch, so the issue must have been temporary. We might eventually move to Vercel.
I’d also love to hear how you choose a UI library, and if there is a particular one that’s worked really well for you.
