Despite disabling the toolbar feature on Vercel and redeploying the application, the toolbar remains visible, as shown in the attached screenshot. This issue recently began when the toolbar started being automatically applied upon deployment. Could there be another setting or recent update that’s causing this? Any advice on how to permanently remove the toolbar would be appreciated.
It could be a caching issue. Does the toolbar go away if you visit the unique Generated URLs for the deployment instead of the production or branch URL?
It’s important to note that changing the toolbar setting requires a redeploy for the change to take effect. Additionally, we have settings at both the team and project levels. While it is possible to disable the toolbar at the team level, there can be project-level overrides. I recommend checking both locations if the toolbar remains visible after making changes and redeploying.
For other users:
- When the toolbar is disabled, it will not be visible.
You can verify this in the following ways:
- Open an incognito window
- Use a different browser
- Log out of your account
As an owner, you can temporarily hide the toolbar by:
- Pressing Command + (.)
- Clicking on the Extension menu and disabling it from there
Please try viewing your site in an incognito window to ensure the toolbar is properly hidden for non-owners.
