Updating website after its hosted

Hello im new started like last week, finally figured out out to paste my code on github repo and then deploy through vercel

everything has been fine so far, had to update the version manualy but now i need to make an edit to my site , i updated the code, pasted it on my github repo and redeployed and it doesnt uh pickup u know, i just want to be aware of the method of what to do to update your website, i feel like the github repo is correct but vercel is not picking it up, i might have to learn how to code to edit the github repo directly but please let that be last case, i have been crashing out since, deleted the repo made a new one with the new code and i just cant figure it out now, if anyone has and tips for this thanks

i have cursor if needed, i can make my repo public just let me know

It should automatically deploy new commits after you connect your GitHub repo to your Vercel project. You’ll need to make sure the Vercel for GitHub integration has access to the repo so it can see the code changes.
