Gaining account access

Good day,

I am desperately seeking help.

I hired a developer some time ago to do backend work for my company. He began the job and did 90% of
the work required. During the development, he was working and deploying code off his own Vercel project under his account.

Because I am not to experienced at development, hosting, etc lingo, I didn’t think this could backfire and put me in such a vulnerable position.

He has also been fully paid however, I have not heard from this developer since August 2024.

I have been emailing him, trying to phone, and texting him since Aug 2024 every few days and still have no luck till today.

This situation has put my business to a complete standstill.

I am worried something has happened to this developer as I found it very strange that he hasn’t responded to me since, especially as he seemed to be such a genuine and professional person.

I have tried everything to get what I’ve paid for but I am at a dead end,

How can I get access to this project/build on Vercel? Will Vercel be able to assist me?

I have all sorts of proof with this developer from chats, payments, reviews, domain ownership, business ownership, etc…

What do I do?

Many thanks

Sorry,

Long story short,

How can I get access to this project/build on Vercel? Will Vercel be able to assist me?

I paid a dev to do my backend but he has been missing for months and my code is on his vercel project

Without knowing all of the account details and gaining access to restricted systems, we can’t be sure what’s possible in this case. I don’t want to crush your hope or make any false promises.

The best solution is to email registration@vercel.com with the details of your situation. That will open a ticket with the specialist team, and they’ll work with you to determine what is possible.

I hope that makes sense
