A custom domain purchased with Vercel will work the same as a custom domain purchased with any other registrar. No worries there!
However, getting the site to appear in Google search results involves more than just a custom domain name. You’ll need to make sure your site also has appropriate content, metadata, headers, robots.txt, keywords, etc. I always recommend Google’s SEO Starter Guide as a good general resource.
