CDN Free Quota and DDOS

I am currently developing a hobby project in Svelte and use the Cloudflare CDN. Because I would prefer to use a smaller provider and I like how you support opensource software, I would like to switch to you for the CDN. Cloudflare is free for now, with you I have to pay from a certain volume. I want to pay from a certain volume, I just wonder what happens if there is a DDOS attack. Because I don’t earn any money with the site yet, this could mean my private bankruptcy. How do you deal with something like this?

Your projects are protected by the Vercel Firewall on all plans.

On the Pro and Enterprise plans, you can add more rules and advanced setups.
