Cannot delete team in order to delete account

I signed up with Vercel but no longer need it.

I am trying to delete my account, but cannot do so. Vercel first tells me that I cannot delete my account because I still have a team. When I try to delete the last team, it tells me that I cannot delete my last hobby team. What do I do?

Hi, @mandisa89!

That is odd. Could you check the following for me?

• Make sure you’ve removed all projects from your hobby team.
• If you have any custom domains or aliases associated with your account, you’ll need to remove those as well.
• Check if you have any active subscriptions or billing information associated with your account and cancel them.

If you’ve done all of the above and are still unable to delete your account, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

thanks for your reply.

You’re right, I had not yet deleted the project, even though I thought I had.

Now the error I am getting trying to delete the project is one of spelling, even though I am literally copy and pasting. Any thoughts?

Hi, @mandisa89!

You need to type “delete my project”, not your project name.
